Right Energy Sustainable

Energy needs to be sustainable for the environment and for the company. But which renewable energy mix offers greater sustainability among solar, wind, biomass, bioliquids, biogas, hydro? We assess the best fit for your operation, finance and ESG initiatives.

About

Right Energy provides consulting in production and use of energy from multiple sources along with the supply of environmental impact numbers with focus on overall sustainability. We are prepared to steer your company through important decisions aimed at increasing operational efficiency while maintaining solid credentials for truthful ESG statements.

WE EVALUATE THE SUPPORTING TRIPOD OF YOUR COMPANY FROM THE EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY PERSPECTIVE:

Operating cycle
– solar, baixíssimas emissões
Very low emissions with solar

Sustainability analysis By evaluating clean energy options we help your company access the best overall cost/benefit solution for the environment and for the company's finances.

eólica, baixíssimas emissões
Very low emissions with wind

Sustainability in energy goes beyond CO2 and climate-change The type of energy that moves your company has an impact on water needs, on biodiversity, on native biomes, and on the pollution of the biosphere. Reducing the impact of energy generation and use across the world is of paramount importance.

Nem toda hidro é sustentável
Sustainable from start to finish

It is not enough for your operation to be sustainable Your suppliers’ operations need to be as well. We check how sustainable they are by assessing fleet emissions, type and efficiency of energy used in the industrial or commercial operation, water consumption, etc.

– Armazenamento de energia será crucial
Energy Storage will be a must

Guidelines when producing or purchasing energy: Big legacy utilities, free market PPA, self-production, wind, solar, hydro, GH2, energy storage, fossil? How will your company's sustainability evolve over time?

Any chance for the world to meet ‘Net-Zero’ in 2050? Unlikely! We help your company speak with its stakeholders correctly. What can be promised to them and how. And beyond them, to the whole society, to opinion makers and to governments.

We evaluate your operation We explain where it is and where it should aim at:

  1. energy consumption per unit of product or service.

  2. water consumption per unit of product or service.

  3. emission of gases, liquids, and solids per unit of product or service.

We scrutinize your interaction with people While talking to your audience you must know:

      1. your strengths and weaknesses in terms of overall sustainability.

      2. the real image your company conveys to the citizen, to the government, to opinion makers.

Projects:

  • Study for SIEMENS ENERGY on the impact on the environment, society and economy resulting from the large-scale use of bioenergy.
  • Exploration of business opportunities in Brazil for the German EPC company Juwi GmbH, focused on renewable energy (solar, wind and biogas).
  • Implementation of solar distributed generation (DG) for pharmacies in the Raia-Drogasil network in PE and RJ.
  • Implementation of an energy solution with photovoltaic solar plants to supply Lojas Americanas units in northeastern states of Brazil
  • Consulting for ABVE – Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association. Analysis and exposure of the best attributes of electric vehicles as a protective measure against the dissemination of distorted and untrue information produced by sectors whose interests will certainly be affected by the growth and dominance of electrified mobility, much more efficient and sustainable than systems based on combustion.

Led by Antonio, a chemical engineer graduated from the University of São Paulo Polytechnic School (76) with a postgraduate degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse (77/78) in environmental engineering with focus on systems for handling liquid, gaseous and solid effluents. After around 3.8 years working at IPT (Technological Research Institute in São Paulo) on renewable energy, this phase was followed by a deep change to more than 23 years of work with marketing and communication in a company co-founded with a partner. We fully served clients like Panasonic, Novartis, Pfizer, Bayer, Reckitt, LG, Banco do Brazil, Monsanto, Hines (North American company focused on investment, development, and management of large real estate projects), Novacor, Sysmex, Corn Products Company (Refinações de Milho Brasil), among others. Back to the energy & environmental scene in 2009 the lead engineer developed studies for Siemens Brazil on the impact on the environment, society and the economy arising from the large-scale use of bioenergy. At the same time, he explored, at the birth of photovoltaic solar energy in Brazil, opportunities for the German EPC company in renewable energy, Juwi GmbH (solar, wind and biogas). Today he joined the development of some photovoltaic electricity generation projects to supply stores of clients such as Grupo Raia Drogasil, the leader in the drugstore sector in Brazil, and for the retailer Lojas Americanas. He lectured at events on the future of energy organized by COGEN in RJ and another organized by the Fraunhofer Liaison Office Brazil held at the Brazil-Germany Chamber of São Paulo. Had an article published in 2022 by the GESEL (the Electricity Sector Study Group from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ) on the sustainability of using sugarcane ethanol as a source of green hydrogen. In 2024, Rigth Energy performed three analyses for ABVE (Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association) on energy and sustainability issues. The first is a review of a report produced by a renowned Brazilian consulting firm defending the idea that hybrid vehicles that use biofuels are better than fully electric vehicles when environmental and socioeconomic impacts are the main criteria. The second analysis was about the paper produced by an US institution on a similar subject involving combustion and EVs sold in Brazil but focused only on emissions issues. This time the conclusion clearly favors electric vehicles, as expected. The third and final analysis was on market research performed by an international consulting firm interested in finding out how automotive industry suppliers in Brazil expect the transition to electric vehicles to happen in terms of speed, scope, and investments on the impacted technologies.
